Hello, I’m Shannon DeCock.

I’m a design leader who thrives when I’m deeply immersed in challenging and complicated projects where product and systems thinking intersect.

I am a Michigan native who found a home in North Carolina and has returned home to the Midwest via Chicago. An avid global traveler. An animal lover and collector of Mid-Century design. A runner always looking for her next race.

As a UX designer, I’ve focused on creating experiences across the disciplines of interaction and visual design. I have been a leader throughout my career, helping give shape to the products I work on. My past life was in print and publication design. Working in the systemized world of news design laid the foundation for the work I’ve achieved on the design systems team at HubSpot.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned that most of all, I love to be deeply immersed in challenging, complicated, and rewarding projects.
